Herbert Fehmer
- Over 30 years of active experience as a professional genealogy researcher.
- Serves as the Genealogist for the Home Association Darup.
- Authored and Edited the comprehensive marriage register book for the Home Association Darup, documenting all parish marriages from 1637 to 1945.
- Completed the specialized genealogy course of the Westphalian Society for Genealogy and Family Studies (1996).
- Member of the Association of Professional Genealogists (APG).

- Conducted research for Professor Andrew Moravcsik at Princeton University (2021–2022).
- Trainee at the European Commission (2022–2023).
